If you bought the app directly through the Online Store you can easily update from Preferences -> Advanced -> Update.

If you bought the app through the Mac AppStore you can update in the Updates tab of the store. Please note that Mac AppStore updates will take a few days longer to appear due to the need to get through the Review process.
